Giving Back Close to Home: Volunteering at the Humane Society of Central Oregon

At AP Equipment Financing, community involvement is an important part of who we are. Recently, members of our team volunteered at the Humane Society of Central Oregon, where we had the opportunity to support their work firsthand.
Our team assisted with a variety of projects throughout the day. We helped package cat and dog food for families in need, cleaned cat enclosures, worked on maintaining the property through weeding, and assembled supplements for kittens. It was a hands-on experience that allowed us to contribute to both the day to day operations of the shelter and the broader support they provide to the community. What stood out most was the level of care and commitment demonstrated by the Humane Society team. Their dedication to the wellbeing of animals and to the families they serve is clear in every aspect of their work. We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of that effort, even for a short time.
Supporting Employee Volunteerism

In addition to volunteer efforts, we also look for ways to give back through team driven initiatives. One example is our company wide Bingo fundraiser, which brings employees together for a shared goal while supporting a charitable cause.
Employees nominate organizations that are meaningful to them, and through a team vote, we select the charity that will receive the proceeds. This approach ensures that our giving reflects the interests and values of our employees, while creating an opportunity to engage and connect across the organization.
