Employee-Nominated Charities Making an Impact

As we wrap up another successful year within our team, industry and partners, it’s important to pause and reconnect with what drives us as an organization: our values, our mission, and our commitment to giving back to the communities we serve.

With this, each year AP Equipment Financing invites team members to nominate a charity that holds personal meaning to them. By supporting causes our employees care deeply about, we strive to create a positive impact—locally, nationally, and globally.

This year, AP employees picked 21 Charities to donate to. The charities AP employees selected include:

American Cancer Society

Mission: “The American Cancer Society is the leading cancer-fighting organization with a vision of ending cancer as we know it, for everyone. They work to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support, to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.”

BrightSide Animal Center

Mission: Brightside is a high-save shelter based in Redmond, OR – dedicated to providing sheltering, placement and prevention services to reduce animal homelessness and unnecessary euthanasia.

Deschutes Land Trust

Mission: “The Deschutes Land Trust’s mission is to conserve and care for the lands and waters that sustain Central Oregon, so local communities and the natural world can flourish together for generations to come.”

Friends of The Boundary Waters

Mission: “Protect the Boundary Waters and to connect people of all backgrounds to the wilderness, so that this and future generations benefit from this special place.”

Girls on The Run

Mission: Girls on the Run has fun, evidence-based programs that inspire participants to recognize their inner strength, increase their level of physical activity, imagine their possibilities, and confidently stand up for themselves and others.

God’s Pit Crew

Mission: A disaster response team, providing disaster relief, emergency supplies, and rebuilding assistance to families in crisis.

High Desert Museum

Mission: “The High Desert Museum wildly excites and responsibly teaches through innovative, interdisciplinary experiences, creating connection to and dialogue about the High Desert.”

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)

Mission: “The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) is an international, non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds to support and promote diabetes research.”

KIDS Center

Mission: Provides support, advocacy, and intervention for children who have experienced abuse or trauma.

Kevin From Heaven Foundation

Mission: Raises funds and awareness to support families facing childhood cancer, offering direct financial and emotional assistance.

Mission: Delivers nutritious meals and safety checks to seniors and others in need to support independence and well-being.

National Multiple Sclerosis Society

Mission: Aims to cure multiple sclerosis while empowering people affected by MS to live their best lives

Oceana, Inc

Mission: Advocates to protect and restore the world’s oceans through policy change, science-based campaigns, and grassroots action.

PreBorn

Mission: Supporting pregnancy clinics in providing care and resources to expectant mothers. Through free ultrasounds, training, and essential support, it helps clinics reach more women, promote healthy pregnancies, and strengthen communities.

Sisters Trail Alliance

Mission: “To protect and preserve the outdoor experience through the stewardship of multi-user, non motorized trails and their adjacent wild places.”

Special Olympics

Mission: “Special Olympics approach is to deliver, high-quality training and competition in an inclusive culture through Unified Sports which allows for people with and without intellectual disabilities to play on the same field.”

St. Marys Area Middle School Mini-THON® 2026

Mission: A student-led fundraiser that raises money and awareness to fight pediatric cancer and support affected families.

Street Dog Hero

Mission: “Serving dogs in need around the world and their communities through rescue, adoption, wellness, spay/neuter, and education.”

The Giving Plate

Mission: Aims to build community and reduce food insecurity by sharing meals and donated food with neighbors in need.

Think Wild

Mission: Based in Bend, Oregon Think Wild educates the public about wildlife and habitat conservation while providing care for native animals.

Volunteers in Medicine

Mission: Provides free, high-quality healthcare to uninsured and underserved individuals through volunteer medical professionals.

Employee-nominated charities demonstrate the power of individuals coming together to support causes they care about. And we love having the privilege to give back to great causes within our own community, our teams communities, and others worldwide.
