Nick Fong, CLFP Chief Marketing Officer & Chief Technology Officer 

  • Participant, ELFA Mentorship Program

Nick amplifies the visibility of ELFF’s research and resources while helping to guide emerging talent in the equipment finance space. With his efforts as a member of the ELFF Branding and Marketing Committee, Nick is passionate about telling the story of equipment finance in a way that’s clear, relatable, and inspiring. He helps shape how the industry shows up, whether that’s through campaigns, messaging, or community outreach, while making sure the value of what we do connects with people inside and outside the industry. At the same time, through the ELFA Mentorship Program, Nick helps others find their footing, offering support and perspective to those just getting started.  

Nick shares, “Many of us have landed in the equipment finance industry by happenstance. Our industry is made up of amazing businesses powered by extraordinary individuals and the ELFF’s mission of educating members and future members of the reach and importance of this industry is a one that I believe in strongly and fully support.” With over 15 years in the equipment finance industry, Nick believes that involvement at all levels is important for the future success of the equipment finance industry. “Whether you’re an up-and-coming credit analyst or a seasoned portfolio manager, there is a space and forum that looks forward to your insights and engagement. Bringing all perspectives and a myriad of expertise will continue to help drive innovation in this ever evolving industry.” 

Zack Marsh, CLFP Senior Vice President, Accounting and Analysis 

  • Participant, ELFA Mentorship Program

Zack volunteers his time and talent to serve on committees and assist on various research projects, academic outreach, and development activities. In his efforts, Zack leads the Foundations of ELFF Board of Trustees with goals of building educational resources that support the long-term health of the industry. Among ELFF’s proudest achievements is awarding $5,000 scholarships to deserving students interested in pursuing a career in equipment finance; and since 2020, 26 students have received $130,000 in tuition awards. The ELFF also proudly stands in partnering with universities to develop curriculum specific to equipment leasing.  

Zack also is a participant in the ELFA Mentorship Program. In his role, Zack is passionate about helping the next generation find their footing in the equipment finance world. He brings real-world experience, and a genuine interest in seeing others grow. For Zack, mentorship isn’t just about guidance, it’s about listening, sharing lessons learned, and building lasting connections. His involvement reflects AP’s commitment to shaping a more inclusive, supportive, and future-focused industry that will continue to flourish after his involvement. 

Kayla Perlinger, CLFP Vice President, Syndications 

Kayla Perlinger

As Chair of the ELFA Small Ticket Business Council Steering Committee, Kayla brings not just leadership, but real passion and insight to the table. Her role involves staying on top of market trends and helping shape strategies that support one of the most active segments of the equipment finance industry—small-ticket transactions, which are also a core focus for AP. The Council plays a key role in keeping ELFA leadership, members, and staff aligned by fostering open communication, surfacing timely issues, and helping turn big ideas into real progress for the industry.

Kayla’s involvement reflects both her personal commitment to the industry and AP’s broader role as a trusted voice in small-ticket finance. Kayla mentions, “My involvement with ELFA has been instrumental in supporting my professional growth and industry engagement. I utilize the organization as a key resource for networking, education, and staying current with industry developments. ELFA provides access to high-quality content, insightful discussions and a strong network of professionals across the equipment finance space. Both in person and virtual events enable our organization to remain connected to evolving trends and best practices, while also fostering relationships that benefit both my individual development and our team at AP.” 

Will Mennesson, CLFP Vice President, Credit 

Will works alongside Kayla to represent the voice of small-ticket finance within the ELFA community. Together, they share frontline insights from AP’s extensive experience in the segment, advocate for the needs of small-ticket lenders, and help drive innovation in this fast-paced and evolving space. His active involvement continues to ensure AP stays connected, influential, and responsive to the shifting landscape of small-ticket equipment finance. 

Melanie Rudiger, CLFP Docs & Funding Manager

Melanie is a true leader in education and ethics, helping train the next generation of CLFPs while also shaping policies that support fairness and inclusiveness in the industry. Melanie serves on the ELFA Diversity & Inclusion Committee, where she helps ensure more equitable practices and amplify underrepresented voices in the equipment finance industry. She also contributes as a CLFP/ALFP Instructor and participates in the Enforcement Committee, helping to uphold the standards and credibility of the CLFP designation. Whether she is guiding new professionals, promoting inclusion, or supporting industry education, Melanie brings a thoughtful and values-driven approach that reflects AP’s culture of leadership, integrity, and community engagement. 

“The reason I find that participating in the industry is important is that I want my voice to be heard about my passion for acceptance.” shares Melanie. “It also represents our culture at AP, and I’m proud to spread it to the industry. I also have a passion for learning, and I love sharing my knowledge and experiences with others that could benefit from it.”

Lauren brings AP’s people-first values to the national level, collaborating on HR best practices, talent development, and DEI strategies that benefit the industry.  Lauren shares, “I find the ELFA HR Roundtable to be incredibly valuable, especially as someone leading a small HR department. It gives me access to insights and best practices from larger organizations within the Equipment Finance industry. The quarterly meetings not only help me stay connected to other HR professionals but also remind me that we’re doing a great job at AP and should be proud of what we’ve built. I always walk away feeling inspired and encouraged by shared expertise and camaraderie.”

Wendy helps ensure the CLFP community stays connected, active, and supported. From planning networking events to sharing resources and ideas, the CLFP organization is passionate about building a community where professionals can learn from each other and grow together. As a member, Wendy is reminded that inspiration is behind every Interaction. Every meeting or collaboration is proof of how much passion and talent exists within the CLFP community. Continuing to motivate her to stay involved and do more.  

Through her efforts as a member, Wendy shares, “It has been an incredibly rewarding experience. It’s given me the opportunity to connect with passionate, like-minded professionals who are committed to elevating the equipment finance industry. After earning my CLFP designation, I felt a strong desire to give back, whether through mentoring, supporting events, or simply encouraging others on their journey.” Showcasing the drive that this involvement gives her. She then shares “This involvement has not only deepened my connection to the CLFP community but also allowed me to continue learning and growing both professionally and personally. Most of all, it’s meaningful because it helps foster a sense of community and shared purpose that makes being a CLFP truly special.”

Cori not only contributes to marketing strategy and engagement through ETAC, but also mentors aspiring CLFPs within AP, helping to expand the designation’s reach and impact. 

“Being part of ETAC has given me a deeper understanding of the industry and the meaningful ways we can connect and collaborate.” Says Cori. “I’ve been so appreciative of the opportunity to help spread awareness about ELFA’s industry events and leadership across our community, as well as support others in achieving their CLFP designation.”

What makes AP expectational in its culture is our company house rules. Our house rules are our daily reminder of what we expect out of each other, and what we should expect from ourselves. Cori, our Marketing Manager and CLFP, is among the top emerging voices shaping equipment finance, Cori has been honored this title due to her excellent work within AP. Cori is constantly on the lookout for new and potential marketing solutions while also building a strong and dynamic team. In just 5 years she has led the marketing team in a humble and innovative way and will only continue to foster and shape what the identity of AP stands for.
